Moving one step up the ladder for team, also meant moving to different arena. This might not be good news for someone else, but for photographers, it was definitely good news, to move out of dark small hall in Radovljica, to Tivoli Arena. Even though ACH Volley will be playing their Champions League matches in small hall of Tivoli Arena, where light is about 1 stop worse then in big one, it’s still much better then it was in Radovljica.

But on the other side, atmosphere is a bit worse then it was. Radovljica hall is much smaller, which means, same number of fans fill it completely, while Tivoli was quite empty, and also all the noise fans manage to generate, is lost a bit in bigger hall. But ACH Volley fans still managed to make great atmosphere. Much better then quality of my photos from first set was. I didn’t shoot volleyball for a while, so it took few shoots before I got right feeling for game. After half of first set, my photos pictured volleyball as sport without ball :) But on the end, I got what I needed without problems, and everyone were happy. Me because I did good job, and keep my clients happy, and players and fans of ACH Volley, because they played great and won first match in European Champions’ League.
