Sport through the lens

I was bitching about dead Macbook Pro battey few days ago, and now I have update.  Problem is solved, I have new battery, and I can work again :)
Ok I was able to work before too, but it’s annoying to call around friends, if they can miss their battery for a day, because I would urgently need it (big thanks to all of you who were able to miss it…. you know who you are :)).

People from EPL did arrange it faster, then promised on beginning. If you remember estimated time was 2 to 3 weeks, and with cycling World Championships around the corner, that 3 weeks delivery time was not best news I could get. Anyway, they were fast, and delivery time was 10 days, so my MBP is not hanging on charger string anymore. So to be honest, I have to thank them too. But nevertheless, being fast is still not excuse for not having one single battery on stock.

I’m not that pissed anymore, as I was 2 weeks ago, but I still can’t go around this. When I had this problems, I went to check around a bit how many people have problems with MB or MBP batteries. And if I would be in charge of Apple, I would change few things. At least in this case it wasn’t once again very familiar story which goes something like this “Oh Sir you are first one with this problem. It never happened to anyone before” . With MBP batteries, I was probably one of 80% of users, who had these kind of problems. Not really encouraging I would say, especially not considering we are talking about 2.000+ eur worth laptop. But that’s life I guess, and I hope that was first and last problem I had with this MBP.
