Sport through the lens

Year is around, and we are in Mendrisio, Switzerland, for 2009 edition of UCI Road cycling World Championships.

We settled in small village just outside of Como, Italy. I managed to find quite nice place, which on the end turned out to be tourist farm with few rooms, on really peaceful hill above village. First I was a bit too optimistic and I was thinking, we will find place somewhere in Mendrisio, but I gave up pretty fast. Paying 300+eur/night/person is a little bit too much :) So instead of going into hills above Mendrisio or Lugano, we moved 10km south on highway to Italian side… and for now it looks pretty cool :)

Since tomorrow morning races starts quite early, we have breakfast at 6am already. So I better get some sleep… especially since I was playing ice hockey till midnight, and I didn’t get much sleep last night either :)
