Soelden, first stop in Alpine skiing World cup 2008-09

Soelden and two giant slalom races on Rettenbach glacier on end of October, are traditional start to FIS Alpine skiing World Cup. This year it wasn’t anything different, except that weather played with us and we had beautiful and busy weekend on Rettenbach glacier.

Skiing season starts

It’s still fall, but in few days, new skiing season will take off. With two GS races in Soelden, Austria, alpine skiing season 2008-09 will take off on weekend between 25th and 26th of October.

End of ski jumping World cup 2007/08

With 4 days of ski flying in Planica, Slovenia, FIS Ski jumping World Cup 2007-08 finished. Middle of March is traditionally reserved for ski flying on World’s biggest ski flying hill with K point at 215 meters, and current World record at 239m. And with this races, my season of shooting skiing is finally over.
